Tier 5 Gear

Tier 5 gear is now available in Age of Wushu.

Armor: Headwear, shirts, pant, shoes, bracers, leggings

Jewelry: Necklace, earrings, rings
Weapon: Blade, sword, dagger, twin blades, twin swords, quarterstaff, staff, and flying claw

How to gain Tier 5 equipment: At prompt of an appropriate event (called “Suppression Incident”), players can refine their equipment to gain Tier 5 equipment. This is done with a Life Skill NPC (Tailor, Blacksmith, and Craftsman) in the major cities.

Refining rules
Refine at Life Skill NPC (Tailor, Blacksmith, and Craftsman) in the main cities.
 

Tier 3gold-grade equipment + Tier 3gold-grade equipment or gold thread powder + high quality binding agent = Tier 4gold-grade equipment (for same body part)
 

Tier 3jade-grade equipment + Tier 3jade-grade equipment or mysterious jade powder + high quality binding agent = Tier 4jade-grade equipment (for same body part)
 

Tier 4silver-grade equipment+ Tier 4silver-grade equipment + normal quality binding agent = Tier 5silver-grade equipment (for same body part)
 

Tier 4gold-grade equipment + Tier 4gold-grade equipment or gold thread powder + high quality binding agent = Tier 5gold-grade equipment (for same body part)
 

Tier 4jade-grade equipment + Tier 4jade-grade equipment or mysterious jade powder + refined quality binding agent = Tier 5jade-grade equipment (for same body part)

Materials
Gold Thread Powder and Mysterious Jade Powdercome fromSuppression Incident instance as well as random encounter drops. Instance drops are bound, while random encounter drops are unbound.


Normal quality binding agent, high quality binding agent, and refined quality binding agent can be purchased at Life NPC.
 

Normal quality binding agent = 10 liang coins
High quality binding agent = 150 liangtaels
Refined quality binding agent = 250 liangtaels

Refining

  1. The main item to be refined must be in good condition (Durability>0).
  2. Open the interface to retain the original attributes of the equipment. If the original attributes do not need to be retained, then uncheck the interface.
  3. Equipment refined from silver-grade equipment cannot retain original attributes.
  4. Silver-grade equipment, gold-grade equipment and jade-grade equipmentcannot be refined if they cannot be re-assembled or repaired,or have an expiration period. 

Items Bound to Player Character

  1. Equipment in the main refining column is bound. The assembled equipment is also bound.
  2. Gold-grade and jade-grade equipment refined by using gold thread powder or mysterious jade powder are bound.
  3. The equipment refined from Tier 4 refined silver-grade equipment is unbound.

Refining Silver-Grade Equipment
The Tier 4silver-grade equipment in the main refining column will determine whetherthe Tier 4silver-grade equipment in the main equipment bar can be refined. One can check for this without actually refining the items. (This rule applies for Tier 4silver-grade equipment only)

Tier 5Equipment

  1. Activate “Internal skill attributes conversion of gold and jade-grade equipment” and “Reset gold and jade attributes” for wearable Tier 5gear.
  2. Activate “Reset service” in the weapon and skill attributes setting function for Tier 5 silver, gold and jade-grade weapons.

Refining Procedure
       

  1. Place the equipment.

  1. Add required materials.

Tier 5 gold and jade set equipment smelting service
Set equipment smelting service: Tier 5 gold-grade and jade-grade set equipment (for the same body part) can be converted to another Tier 5 set equipment (for the same body part). Conversion will not affect enhanced attributes (unless it is specified by the player) or whether the item is bound or unbound.

Players can specify an attribute while converting set equipment. Tier 5 set equipment can only be converted to anotheritem of the same quality and level.


Smelting

The same part of Tier 5 gold and jade set equipment (weapon, armor and jewelry)  +the incurred cost = the same part of other Tier 5 gold and jade-grade equipment (weapon, armor, and jewelry).

Notes

  1. When Age of Wushu Record Suppression Incident is activated, players can use Conversion function at a Life Skill NPC (Tailor, Blacksmith, and Craftsman) in the main cities.
  2. Only Jianghu VIP players can use smelting service.
  3. Only the enhanced equipment with Durability above 90 can be put in the main equipment bar.
  4. Smelting service can only retain the enhanced attribute of the main smelting part. Its special effect and set equipment attributes will be converted into the special effect and set equipment attributes of the new equipment.
  5. Smelting does not change whether an item is bound or unbound.
  6. This function is only applicable to Tier 5 gold and silver-grade equipment gained by refining. Tier 5 gold and silver-grade equipment obtained through other means cannot be smelted.
  7. Gold-grade equipment and jade set equipment cannot be convertedif they cannot be re-assembled or repaired, or have an expiration period.

Resetting enhanced weapon attribute and skills

  1. Both the qualitative type and quantitative value of the weapon’s damage and defense-breaking attribute will be reset randomly.
  2. Operation does not affect weapon’s original enhanced skill attribute.

  1. The type of the weapon’s damage and defense-breaking attribute remains the same. Their value will still be reset randomly, however.

  1. The skill set is randomized.
  2. This function supports silver-grade equipment, gold-grade equipment and jade-grade equipment.

Fees

The price is determined by the number of skill sets for which the weapon can be used. The more skill sets that can be applied, the lower the cost for resetting the skill set.

  •  
  1. Only enhanced gold and jade-grade weapons can have their attributes reset.
  2. Skill reset is possible for enhanced silver, gold and jade-grade weapons and armor.
  3. Weapons and armor must be bound before resetting, and their Durability must be higher than 0.
  4. Resetting armor and weapons do not affect whether they are bound or unbound.
